Detect Audio are Arnaud Le Texier and Antonio De Angelis. Between them they’ve clocked up and impressive catalogue of releases on Cocoon, Bass Culture, 2020 Vision, Gynoid, OFF, Leftroom and Children of Tomorrow.

And they don’t disappoint here. Minotaur brings heavy, upfront kicks and unrelenting perc drive together with a smooth and infectious Convexion-style synth line. Freak Lips is a cranked-up ghost-in-the-machine groove, and Leadings is a precision-engineered destroyer. In addition, ROD has filed a pacey rework of Minotaur, which comes through with a Hardgroove flavour and a no-prisoners bass drive. Meanwhile Antigone turns up the dub pressure in his remix, combining discombobulating pads and tooth-shattering bleep to massive effect.

This one really has to be listened to through a massive wall of speakers in a building made of asbestos. But if you can’t find one, a nightclub will just have to do…  Either way, make sure you’ve got a penny on top of the needle, because it’s heavy.

January 2013 sees another massive line-up at OneMore! We are proud to present you this Swedish duo called SKUDGE! They perform a full size LIVE set, as LIVE as it can be, using only analogue machinery… This is what they have to say:

“Machines do speak a language understood and appreciated by humans. Measured by the success of Skudge, an artistic duo that has delivered a lot in a very short time. Combining their inspiration and talent through wires and analogue equipment, they seem to always present something new – in a very faithful style.

What remains most segnificant on their output through the main label Skudge Records, as well as their remix material present on a row of different labels, it must be their exceptional sense of loops and unexpected detail in their productions.”

Expect them to do what they do best – their own music on their own terms, meaning that wherever their journey brings to us and them, it will always be very tasteful.

Joining them there will be Ryan Elliott, a familier face and sound for OneMore as we had the pleasure of meeting him back in july ’12… He hardly needs any introduction as he’s a regular at Berghain / Panorama bar and is integral part of the Ostgut-Ton family…
