It’s been a year now since we saw the last release from Children Of Tomorrow. Only three releases old, the French imprint adhere very much to, quality over quantity. With Terence Dixon, Mathias Kaden, Emmanuel Ternois, dOP and D’Julz having all featured on ’001′ and ’002′, last years third instalment was provided by Safari Electronique boss Arnaud Le Texier. The success of his “Ingredients” ep, with its accompanying Jonas Kopp remix, saw the label build upon its already glittering array of supporters with the likes of Marcel Dettmann, Mayaan Nidam, Cassy, Kenny Larkin, DVS1, Rolando, Troy Pierce and Ewan Pearson all lending their love over the first trio of releases. So to 004 and again we find Arnaud Le Texier stepping up and this time he’s joined by fellow Safari artist Antonio De Angelis as the duo team up to present their “Hybrid” ep. Three choice cuts of devastating techno that range from the intergalactic groove and kick of lead cut “Switchover” to the beautifully deep, string-laden and yet mighty “Bandit“, before rounding out with the powerful glitchy sounds of “Hybrid.”. Its “Hybrid” thats receives the remix treatment from Ryan Elliott. The Spectral Sound and Ostgut Ton man turns in a blistering rework, and whilst the ‘Berghain‘ tag is often misused, the Detroit native’s residency at the club makes him the perfect and practised craftsman of the sound.
